Social Networking Platform for Private Online Communities
Smart Start
We have built hundreds of Communities for major brands and small start-ups – everyone wants smarter connections, no matter the size and we have an excellent way to work collaboratively with you.
Making the right decisions early in the planning process will guarantee that your Community has the critical elements to sustain itself and assure long term success.
introNetworks created the Smart Start program to provide you with a solid start along with a roadmap for success based upon your unique requirements. Using collective best practices and our expertise from over ten years of building smart social networks, Smart Start provides a basis for laying the foundation of a vibrant online community.
We have built sites in as little as a week, though a more thorough process is recommended, with your Community ready for soft-beta in as little as three weeks.
We follow a three step process called Design, Launch and Grow and are guided by five tenets:
Have a clear strategy
What is your overall strategy for the project? Be explicit. Having a Mission Statement and a Vision for the project is critical. Can you say exactly what we are building and why? What’s its purpose for existence? Everything we do will vector back to these words.
Expect and Efficient Implementation
The process of building, launching and growing your network will be front-loaded with live sessions, with homework assigned between the meetings. We will keep track of everything using Google Docs to have a true collaborative environment. It works best when all stakeholders are engaged in the process.
Plan for actionable business intelligence – Insight
How will you use the business intelligence received from the introNetworks implementation? The introNetwork serves as a catalyst to accelerate and expand the business potential for your organization. Knowing this, start to imagine what you are going to do with this newfound information? Dream a little. What do you want to know about your audiences you don’t know today – and what do they want to know about each other. Finally, how will this knowledge unleash your organizations potential?
Create a compelling user experience
A successful community is not a technology problem – it’s a communication challenge. What are the things that you will need to do to engage your audience? How will you answer the question, “What’s in it for me?” Giving compelling answers are key to getting people to spend precious time on the site. Yes, it’s about graphics, and branding and tone of voice and vibrant conversations too! We want to avoid the ‘empty room syndrome’ even for the first people to the party.
Identify and measure ROI
What metrics do you think you will need to have in place to measure the Return on Assets of the Project? It is important to set some stakes in the ground now and then measure against them. What is important to you to measure? Look at your Mission Statement and Purpose of the project, that will give you some clues – of course, we are going to work on this together!
Building an introNetwork Community is a lot of fun because we get to spend time thinking about your organization in a new way. We look forward to getting started!
